two people among many millions that walk the face of the earth, every day..... and as you hold me close, I know that out of all the many millions, there is only one.... only one that can hold me this close and make me feel as though the world is mine..... only one who can say one word and turn my darkest day into the brightest sunlight, only one who could capture my heart, 
and fill it with a love greater than I have ever known..... And though we stand here...alone... you and I..... against a world of hatred...war...cold...cruelty...I am not afraid... for fear is a word that inhabits only those who have no faith... but as we stand here, together, and as I look into your eyes... I know by the grace of God... our love will last forever... for I have faith... For I have......... You!! |

 Sometimes,
in a world like ours it's difficult to connect… Everyone is self-absorbed
and no mind is paid to the greater scheme…. I happen to be one of the more
fortunate for having a friendship that runs so deep…. for having someone
in my life with whom I can openly exchange ideas…..for having someone in
my life who reaffirms my belief in humanity whenever we speak…. for having
someone in my life who inspires me to greater things by supporting me and
by setting the example…… for having someone in my life who accepts me for
all that I am,
regardless of my faults…… for having found all of this in one beautiful soul… YOU |

Today
I pledge again to go wherever life continues to lead us. For with
you I know the meaning of love — and from you I've learned the strength
of commitment. This day begins anew, to continue to build on our
strengths;

When
I look into your eyes, I see a thousand reasons to remember our first encounter;
our first heartache; our first sense of pride — the challenges, the
successes, the obstacles and the accomplishments. Together, we have
wandered in and out of many places. We've climbed hilltops, soared the
heavens and lived our dreams. Through it all, not once have our hearts
nor our hands, nor our thoughts, left one another.
Today,
as we continue to love, grow and conquer — whatever comes our way, I know
that I have the person beside me whom I will gather strength from, and
impart strength to! For just as we did on that day when vows we pledged
to one another, I renew those words of meaning once again.
