Bryce Canyon, Utah
If you've never seen Bryce Canyon, it is difficult to describe. It isn't a "canyon" at all but an amphitheater of pillars of limestone, eroded into fantastic, intricate shapes and gloriously colored in shades of red, yellow, purple, and lavender. Some pillars are even crowned with pure limestone that glows like delicate white porcelain.

The hoodoos will invariably grab your attention first. These brown, red, orange, yellow, and white pinnacles of limestone, sandstone, and mudstone shoot toward the sky in fanciful formation.  Ponderosa pines, high-elevation meadows, and fir-spruce forests border the rim of this canyon on the Paunsaugunt Plateau.

If you find yourself longing for a breath of fresh air and self-renewal in a tranquil, slower paced time zone, surrounded by some of the world's most fantastic scenery, do not miss Bryce!

I can not  adequately describe in words this beauty of God's creation. If you ask me to proof that God exists .... I will show you Bryce Canyon.... and you will understand.

The sky never seems so blue as when viewed from the rim of Bryce Canyon.  This landscape of towering spires, arches and mazes is fodder for the imagination and a delight to the eyes.

Bryce Canyon is miraculous because it is always changing — no matter how many times you look, there is always something different to see.  How vivid I remember my first glance over Bryce Canyon in 1999.  It gripped me with awe and fascination. All I could do was whisper.... so careful not to desturb the silence.  The landscape of Bryce possesses intricate and delicate beauty.  The views of the cathedrals, castles, windows and arches painted in tints of pink, red, orange and cream captivated my imagination.  After winding among towering hoodoos later that day, I developed a personal, intimate feeling for this exquisite land.  Later that day I stood in awe and watched how the sky was set aflame at sunset.   I realized Bryce is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
